2400 L x 640 H x 1200 Depth front to back
>That is indeed huge. Wouldnt the DW hinder Brutus movements especially on live feed? I like looking at aro chasing its meals. I feed SW and sometimes when the wavemaker blows the SW i find it funny how the Aro can do funny stunts hahaha

as you cansee, I have a buffet for the arowana, large feeder fish. for the time they are alive, the feeder fish are fed only hikari cichlid gold and massivores. Gutloaded for maximum nutrition. I also breed my own mealworms and feed gutloaded mealworms, whent he goldfish runs out, I feed prawns and he eats them only when nothing else is avail but this vip red is so aggressive, more so than other arowanas I have owned, the aggression is unusual that I need to keep him fully fed at all times, any day not fed, he will try to attack another.
so the best way is to keep him around fish that are prey, easy targets so he is satisfied lol
the tank is very wide front to back, the drift wood only takes a small part at the back, and has caverns at the bottom for other fish to swim through and hide for safety.
the other parts are low so the whole top part is for the arowana, plenty of space
here is the old lay out but me feeding a huge goldfish.
the fish was 25% longer than a Samsung galaxy s3 phone for perspective. you can also see the size as it takes it.
the video is short but it took more than 35 minutes for the aro to swallow it eventually
My Sump and Filtration
>Mine is just clumsy.. evertything all he knocks on while chasing for food. How is maintainence like given the huge size?
>Wow nice set up!
>hi henward, how are you spinning the K1 media? airstone or...
thanks

thanks 2 Pumps.
One to push upwards and another diagonal. No dead spots is the key.
>Nice setup bro... And really enjoy to see aro anxious to swallow his prey...
